One city after another; a new country every month, with another on the horizon. Raised by nannies, while my actual parents were often absent, that was my reality—no complaints. What else could I do? Moving from one school to the next every few weeks, thanks to Dad’s clientele, made it hard to gain a foothold. The constant bullying and abuse often chipped away at my self-confidence, but I learned to endure it. You'd think that after high school, I would do what most kids do—pack up and travel before heading to college. But not me; I was done with that. I stayed home while my mom was sick and dying. I took charge, working alongside my dad on Wall Street, balancing school, and raising my sister. Quite a life, right? I do what I want, when I want, and how I want it. If breaking your heart is what it takes to achieve my goals, so be it. The only thing that matters is that I get what I need in the end. I became an essential cog in the machine, and everyone wanted me.
